After six years of Rest + Wild, we have become increasingly clear about what we want to create next. Closing Exmoor and Shropshire allows us to focus our time and resources on Yorkshire and on the next chapter of Rest + Wild. It has not been an easy decision, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who has stayed with us at both locations.

No. Rest + Wild is continuing, and our Yorkshire cabins remain open for bookings. This is a deliberate step towards the future of the company, giving us the space to focus on Yorkshire while we develop what comes next.

No. All stays taking place before the closing dates will go ahead as planned, and you can expect the full Rest + Wild experience.

Yes. Gift cards can still be redeemed at Yorkshire. If you were planning to use yours at Exmoor or Shropshire, you will need to book before 2nd November and 3rd January respectively. If you are not sure when your gift card expires or what your options are, get in touch and we will sort it.

Yes, while dates remain. Exmoor has availability up to 2nd November (last check-in date is 30th October) and Shropshire up to 3rd January (last check-in date is 31st December). These are our final seasons at both sites and dates are filling up, so if you have been thinking about it, now is the time.

Each of our locations has its own landscape and character, but Yorkshire is unmistakably Rest + Wild. The cabins are completely secluded among tall pine trees, overlooking Wensleydale, with the same comfort, privacy and connection to the landscape that define every Rest + Wild stay.
